Another impressive professional MOT, Service and Repair with courtesy car. Have used Wallis & Son several times and will continue to do so.

As usual, Wallis were very helpful in fitting me in and checking the state ot my tyres on seeing the warning notification. I am pleased to use them, as always.

We recently bought our Polo in for some investigation as we had some work done on it last year and a similar thing was happening. They needed to replace the catalytic converter again and it was only 10 months since the last replacement. They did this all free of charge as was under warranty. Excellent service and would definitely recommend.

Another great service experience for our 11 year old Volvo S40 (136,000 miles) from Wallis and Son. Efficient booking from the service team, loan car ready and available for our convenience on the day of the service, full service effectively carried out and a full valet of the car before collection. For some inexplicable reason we have four cars ranging from a relatively new Peugeot diesel to a historic BMW CSi coupe which is 45 years old. All are maintained to an incredibly high standard by Wallis and Son, no matter what the issue is. There is never any problem that they are unable to resolve, and accompanied by a very friendly and well informed office staff. A true family firm of the highest order -they have to be recommended without any reservations.

Thanks again to the team at Wallis & Sons Garage on the Barton Road, Cambridge, for taking care of my 2002 vintage Jaguar XJ8 : a winter check, MOT, and some welding work. They're a first-class outfit and very fairly priced.

My now husband surprised me with a Jaguar MK2 at the close of our Cambridge Registry Office ceremony on a beautiful sunny fall day in Cambridge. The car itself was gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and an absolute blast to drive through the city of Cambridge (and it seems, a lot of fun for the people of Cambridge to watch!) It also handled our slightly longer drive to Le Talbooth for our wedding breakfast without issue and I'll admit, even though I'm not a car enthusiast myself, it added that special something to what was otherwise a very understated wedding. And the joy it brought to my husband - priceless. Furthermore, the experience dealing with Wallis and Son was professional, warm, and generous. Would happily do business with them again!

Unbelievably great service, a lot of garages could learn a huge amount from how these guys operate! We hired a Jaguar E-type from Brian and he was superb and made our experience very special. I will be making the journey to have them service my Rolls. Thank you.

Recently renovated shop area with a broad range of confectionery, cakes and other food. Petrol isn't the cheapest, but it is well placed for people approaching Cambridge from the South West. Large range of prestige vehicles for sale and you can even hire vehicles for weddings etc.

Rented Wallis's AMAZING Triumph Stag out for a music video this weekend, and WHOOW! What an Amazing car that thing is! Massive thanks to Brian from Wallis for sorting everything out, everything was sorted with ease, car was clean and in great condition, and no hassle to rent. 5 stars all day long

Another excellent experience looking after my Jaguar. The engine light was coming on intermittently and this was quickly booked in, examined and diagnosed.

Christian spent time on the phone discussing and explaining the options and did not rush me into making a decision, simply outlining the different costs and possibilities. I decided the next morning which option was best and the car was back to me within 48 hours.

I was unable to collect the car before the garage closed so they key was left for me with another employee so I could collect it when I could get there.

And it was lovely and clean when I collected it!

Hiring Wallis & son’s beautiful triumph stag was one of the best things I have experienced for a long time. Had the most amazing day driving her around as a treat. She was a dream. And special thanks to Brian who was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We hired a classic Mini Cooper on 13.4.19 to step back in time to my very first car. She was tiny and we soon recalled how close to the floor of the car one sits! We laughed and had the best fun with her and the memories flooded back. I am 60 this year, as is the Mini and she was my very first, beloved car. This was a unique and special experience and we will never forget that day. She obviously invoked the same feelings in other drivers who waved at us, people even stopped by her to have their photos taken with her.

Brian Inman arranged it all, very smoothly, for us. We had a very friendly welcome from him & he took an interest in my story, even trying to find out if "my" Mini was still about. He explained how to get us going and we were soon on our way. Kind & friendly people to deal with and would thoroughly recommend them for your classic car experience. Karen & Colin Lewis ( South Wales......we drove a long way but it was so worth it).

Always professional and honest. Our Passat was taken in for a MOT and service. Long runner, 138,000 miles and getting to that problematic stage. We were given a estimate for work needed to be done and then advised it would fail emissions test. Rather than do all the service work, and then try expensive emissions fixes, they gave us good advice, which saved us a lot of money. Alas no Passat anymore, but as ever, Wallis and Son were upfront and straightforward.

I took my treasured eighteen year old Jaguar in for its MoT and Winter Health Check and Full Valet. It was back with me by the end of the day, looking fabulous. As Community Fundraiser for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, I'd like to say a huge thank you to Wallis and Son for kindly supporting us with our Christmas tree recycling scheme in January 2020. We required a number of vans for our volunteers to drive over the course of three days, and Ian Andrews who managed the majority of the rental process ensured everything ran smoothly for us. So easy, so helpful, didn't have to pay more to be serviced locally rather than trudge all the way across town to the main dealer. Even though I have a little ford I am treated with the same politeness and respect as if I had a Daimler outside. Whenever I have a problem Wallis sort it and ask me first if work is needed so there are never any shocking bills. How good it is, to be able to TRUST in a company; a company who are professional but also care.

Licence and provided me with a fantastic little car for my son's prom at the very last minute we hired an old style mini cooper sport which was in immaculate condition and great fun to drive. The whole process easy quick and efficient and I would definitely use them again either for a prom or just because I fancy driving the little mini cooper again!

Had three days with their Aston Martin convertible, driving around Southern England. Car still looks and sounds great, fast but still quite driveable around town. Did wish it was a more "look at me!" colour, black is very understated though. Only niggle was that the satnav system was very broken, but used my phone and that was good enough. The guys delivered and collected for a small extra charge (I do live in Cambridge though so clearly this has limits). They were on time for both. I felt the price was very reasonable for what I got, and would be delighted to rent from them again.

I have used Wallis and Son for servicing and repairs for many years, during which time I have owned some weird and wonderful cars. I know that I can really trust this garage to perform truly skilled diagnostics and professional repairs on any vehicle. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars!

I never thought I'd be giving a 5 star review for a car dealer, but this one is well deserved. I live in Nottingham, so it's a long way to travel to see a car. I spoke to Mike on the phone first, and got a good feeling about Wallis & Son, so I took a half day and drove down. As soon as I arrived, I received an extremely warm welcome and felt right at ease. The car was immaculately presented, and they encouraged me to take it out for a long test drive, which I did. It's a great location for test driving a car. I was really pleased with the part exchange value they offered, so I ended up driving home in a new car. The whole experience from start to finish was a real pleasure. There's no sales pushiness at all, and I really felt like they put the customer first and want you to leave completely satisfied. Suffice to say that when I'm ready to part exchange again, I know where I'll be going. Thanks for a great experience!

I cannot recommend Wallis’ enough. The service was fantastic. My car was booked for a full service which was cheaper than the main dealer and all the staff were so friendly. Courtesy car was great and they even cleaned my car before I picked it up. Thank you all!

The guys at Wallis and Son Ltd carried out some work for me on my car. Change of cambelt and water pump, replace brake pads and discs front and rear and replaced front tyres. The work was done to a high standard and their communication was faultless.
