Harston to Pentewan (Cornwall)

Adam and Sarah Coe had an ambition to cycle on a tandem from their home in Harston to their cottage in Cornwall. They set out on May 15th and took the following route:

• Day 1 Harston to Marlow (Bucks) 66 miles
• Day 2 Marlow to Wilton (Wilts) 84 miles
• Day 3 Wilton to Exeter 88 miles
• Day 4 Exeter to Tavistock 46 miles over Dartmoor
• Day 5 Tavistock to Pentewan 43 miles

It was a very hard challenge made harder by the bad weather, especially the wind as they had to battle against 20mph headwinds over Dartmoor.

The ride was in aid of Harston and Pentewan Churches' and hopefully £1000.00 will be raised. The journey was completed without any mishaps, not even a puncture, and the finish line was a welcome sight.
